General and specific information regarding our ‘LIVE ONLINE’ General Art & Antiques Sale to be held June 2020
Our postponed March auction will take place from 9 until 22 June. This will be a regular live auction but without an audience in our auction room.
Bidding is possible ‘live online’ and by phone (limited lines) during the live sessions in June. And by placing a bid online through the online catalogue. The catalogue is online. Click here for the separate PDF of the ‘live online’ sale schedule of June.
If you are a new (or not fully registered/approved) customer
Live online bidding, leaving absentee bids as well as creating a list with your favorites, etc. is possible through your personal account on our website. To create an account you will need to register (only once). To complete your registration with approval for bidding we send you, immediately after you have registered, an automatic email (check spam) requesting you to send us a copy of your ID. Please reply to this e-mail with your ID, we will process your details and approve you to bid.
Please note that we need to receive your ID latest 24 hrs. before you want to bid ‘live online’ to guarantee that we can approve you in time.
Our buyer’s premium is 29,5% including VAT.
Bid ‘live online’
You can login during the ‘live online’ session in which the lot or lot numbers of your interest will come up for auction to follow the auction ‘live’ and bid ‘live online’. Our sale of June is a ‘Live Online’ auction. Due to the Covid-19 situation without public in the room.
Placing a bid through our online catalogue, is placing a maximum bid. We will try to buy the lot as cheap as possible during the ‘live session’ but if someone else is bidding also (absentee bid, live online or by telephone) we will bid during the live online auction as high as needed, up to your maximum bid. You will not receive e-mails if your absentee bid is over-bid, nor is your absentee bid visible online for others.
Booking a telephone line for a lot number or several lot numbers is possible. Note that (due to the Covid-19 situation) we will have limited lines available. Please bid ‘live online’ or leave a maximum bid through our online-catalogue where possible. To request a telephone bid, please send an email to email@example.com
You can request condition reports and additional images by sending an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you require any additional information or images, our specialists are present coming weeks and are happy to provide this by e-mail, phone or video call.
There is limited possibility to view items. If you want to see many lot numbers: This is possible from Monday 25 -Saturday 30 May and Tuesday 2 -Friday 5 June, only by appointment through the reservation tool on our website.
If you want to view only 1-3 lot numbers please contact us by phone or email to arrange a separate appointment.
Shipping and collecting
We provide in-house service for packing and sending your purchases by post (PostNL), registered and insured. You can request a shipping quote by email to email@example.com. We will inform you of these costs and we can add these costs to your invoice, so you can pay the total due amount in once. We charge a little extra for the time and material on top of the PostNL fee.
Collecting is possible from June 23-June 26 and June 29-July 3, from 9.00-17.00 hrs. by appointment only (to be made by telephone). We will not charge storage costs if you are not able to come on these dates but can later in the month of July or begin of August.
We can arrange delivery by the two transport company’s we work with regularly, or have your purchased lot numbers picked up by a transport company of your choice.
