Dear customer,

Our General Art and Antiques Sale will take place as a ‘LIVE ONLINE’ sale using a Live Stream. It is also possible to be present in the sale room. You can find our complete catalogue online. The dates and starting times of the sessions are listed with the lot numbers.

Bidding
Bidding is possible in various ways:
– Live online during the relevant sessions. When clicking on the button ‘Live Bidding’ you will arrive at the page with the live stream and bidding screen. The stream will be online starting ca 30 minutes before the start of each session.
– In the sale room with a paddle number in the room (freely accessible)
– By telephone (starting with a low estimate of ca. € 400). Please send your request for phone bidding to info@dezwaan.nl.
– Absentee bid on our online catalogue, using the button ‘lees meer | bieden and ‘bieden’ on the product page of your lotnumber. Your absentee bid is a maximum bid. The auctioneer will bid on your behalf during the auction, if necessary by counterbids up to your maximum bid. We prefer placing your absentee bids yourself using the online catalogue, but offcourse you can always contact us by phone or e-mail if you want us to place your absentee bid. You can place an absenteebid up to 1 hour before the relevant session in the sale room starts. Please note: this is not a ‘timed-online’ auction, when placing a absentee bid you will not be notified if you are outbid.

In order to be able to bid in any way, you must be registered and approved. If you are a new customer, please register via the ‘register’ button. If you are registered but not yet approved for bidding, you will immediately see a notification when you log in. We can approve you once we have received a copy of your ID. Therefore, make sure that we receive your ID at least 24 hours before you want to start bidding, so that we can approve you in time.

If you were successful you will receive your purchase invoice by e-mail.

Collecting, shipping and delivery

Collecting
For collecting your purchases, we will continue to use the appointment tool. This allows us to ensure that your purchased objects are ready for picking up as fast as possible. We kindly ask you using the appointmnet tool to reserve a time for collecting the purchased goods. This appointment tool with pick-up dates and times will be online from November 3th. Picking up small items can, in some cases, also be done during or at the end of each session.
Payment in full is required before collection. We accept cash or debit card transactions in person at our office. We do not accept Credit cards. Payment by can also be made by bank transfer, to our bank account NL35 INGB 0697 4124 15, with your invoice number as reference. Allow enough time to ensure that the funds have been received in our account before collecting goods.

Shipping
Small goods and paintings can be sent to you by parcel at any address in the Netherlands and abroad. We work together with Easy2Send for this. Easy2Send is specialized in fast transport. From simple courier assignments to exclusive items and customized transport. When you choose Easy2send and you paid the invoice, Easy2send ill take over the further packaging and shipping. You will receive a separate invoice from Easy2send for the shipping costs, which you must pay to them. In view of the large amount of parcels, in-house shipping is only possible in exceptional cases.

Delivery
You can also have your purchases delivered by one of our two couriers. You can contact them to make an appointment for delivery and ask for a pricequote. As soon as the purchases have been paid, we can hand over your purchases to the courier. Payment of transport costs are done directly to the courier.

Costs:
€90 per hour for two people and a car (ex VAT). Goods are brought home.

You can of course also instruct us to deliver items to a carrier of your choice.
