A private collection of jewellery from Frankfurt
This autumn, we will sell a large collection of German jewellery from a private estate, via the German-based appraiser and gemmologist (GG) David Hessels. A special place is occupied by the jewellery from the jewellery company and goldsmith Biegel.
The Frankfurt-based family business Biegel was founded in 1964 by Werner Biegel and is now run by his son Marc – Jens Biegel. Under his leadership, the company is dedicated to the production of high-quality and contemporary jewellery. The team of master goldsmiths and designers produces its own collection and also creates exclusive designs on customer orders. Classic working techniques are combined with contemporary design and innovative product development, with ‘characterful and clear’ as key words.
The Biegel collection that we offer consists entirely of custom-made jewels. All jewels are therefore unique, there is no second copy. Often with precious gemstones, such as large diamonds, Colombian emeralds and Ceylon sapphires that are supplied by the customer themselves, a collection has been created that, in addition to aesthetics, also radiates playfulness and daring.
